Tomb Raider Underworld
Multi Review: All tomb raiding adventures are due a few slips. This has its fair share.

Penny Arcade Adventures Episode 2
Multi Review: This continuation of the series lacks the earlier's enthusiasm.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir
PC Review: Strategic combat and financial acumen are the focus of this expansion.

The Last Remnant
X360 Review: A disappointing blemish on Squre-Enix's normally excellent record.

LocoRoco 2
PSP Review: Warm fuzzy feelings and dizzy queasy feelings compete in this colourful platformer.

SBCGFAP Episode 5: 8-Bit is Enough
PC/Wii Review: A fitting farewell to the series perhaps, but not a grand finale.

Guitar Hero Metallica revealed in new trailer

If you just can’t get enough Metallica and even the new Death Magnetic album release on Guitar Hero III and Guitar Hero World Tour wasn’t enough to sate your appetite, then you’ll definitely be interested in GH Metallica, which takes an extensive trip through the band’s discography and also features a few guest bands like Judas Priest and Alice in Chains.

As with World Tour, the new game will support vocals and drums as well as lead and bass guitar, making it a much more viable sounding product than GH Aerosmith was. But why are we telling you this? To pique your interest in the new reveal trailer, of course!

Rock Band gets festive, Guitar Hero gets …reggae?

This week sees a combined four song packs for Rock Band and rival franchise Guitar Hero.

The former has a possibly-too-late-to-be-really-useful festive pack titled Rockin’ the Holidays, which has The Pretenders’ Blue Christmas, Billy Squier’s Christmas Is The Time To Say I Love You and Barenaked Ladies’ Hanukkah Blessings. If you’re a bit more humbug, you can always get your hands on the new Foo Fighters pack instead, containing DOA, Times Like These and This Is A Call.

For Guitar Hero players, you can choose between a ‘Hard Rock’ pack, containing Light It Up by Rev Theory, Because Of You by Nickelback and Use Me by Hinder, and an intriguing selection of Reggae Rock, featuring Your Face by Pepper, Jimi by Slightly Stoopid and Sacrifice by The Expendables.

Arcade Wednesday: Puzzle Arcade

It may be the start of the Christmas holidays here at Jolt, but it’s currently business as usual for Xbox Live Arcade, which means another new title for you to purchase with your hard earned MS Points (sorry, no free game this week).

Eidos’s Puzzle Arcade is a first for the service in that it’s a game all about jigsaws. It allows you to generate and complete jigsaw puzzles, both of the developer’s inclusion and using your own images if you have an Xbox Live Vision Camera. There is a social element promised thanks to some multiplayer modes, and, of course, you can always count on there being a raft of downloadable additions to come.

MotoGP 08 demo finally leaves the starting grid

Having fully taken over next-gen publishing rights from THQ, Capcom promptly went on to do absolutely nothing new or exciting with the MotoGP license. Let’s face it: it’s a motorbike racing simulation and there’s only so much to be done with it, anyway.

With that in mind, you probably already know whether or not the game is of any interest to you, but just in case you haven’t made your mind up, a rather belated demo has appeared on Xbox Live.

The demo allows you to start a quick race only for the single but challenging Mugello track in Italy. You do have a choice of two riders: Spain’s Dani Pedrosa or USA’s Nicky Hayden.
